Yo Quiero Courage, says Taco Bell Canada
Taco Bell is ready to Live Mas as it partners with Courage, a Toronto-based creative agency, as its new agency of record (AOR).
The partnership, bringing together one of the strongest QSR creative brands with an agency working on an increasingly extensive portfolio of food giants, is one to watch.
Courage’s first work with Taco Bell is expected to launch this spring.
“Getting to work with Taco Bell, a global favorite that isn’t afraid to make noise, is an absolute dream and we couldn’t be more grateful,” said Joel Holtby, co-founder and co-CCO at Courage. “We’re just so excited to work with a cultural staple that has creativity in its DNA.”
Taco Bell Canada’s marketing director, Devon Lawrence, on the partnership: “Amid a market that is overrun with a lot of the same ideas, we strongly believe that creativity is the greatest tool we have to help us stand apart from the crowd,” he said. “Finding an agency that innately understood this was crucial to our search, and we feel we’ve absolutely found that in Courage.
This partnership marks Courage’s second major win for a Yum! Brands subsidiary, following their appointment as KFC’s Canadian AOR in December 2022. Other agency accounts include Nestle, Boost, Coffee Mate, San Pellegrino, Kit Kat, and Turtles.
